decided to deactivate my facebook account for the month of november.
just to give it a try of surviving without the biggest social networking site
ok today is day 1 of it.
i woke up today morning checking my bb that is beside my bed
for fb notifications, emails and texts
there was only texts and emails
i miss my facebook notifications.
now i decided to switch on my laptop, and there is no facebook
[yes facebook is my most commonly visited site according to google chrome.]
and now that i am updating my blog, i am sure no one will know about this because i didn't publish my latest update on facebook.
facebook is like a drug addiction gosh
i feel weird already.
like a part of me is missing.

because uni is so not a place for making friends

niang.
i m sure this is fate that made us this close.
no despite what niang posted on my fb, i am not in a lesbian relationship with her
working together at the start of this year marks the start of a wonderful friendship!
and choosing electrical engineering has something to do with her too haha
i realised i wasn't actually discussing what course i should take with anyone
except niang
yangzhi was kinda uncontactable that time
zhengpin was set on biz school
and debbie was so pro SMU
mel was deciding what course to take
when suddenly she wrote on her blog she is going to SDE
which i am not really interested in
and she has her friends who r going into the same course as her
which leaves me with just niang
she picked ee and she was so insistent on going there
i thought why not? engineering is a good degree.
anyway, we didn't drift apart even after i stop working at global
i got sacked in april, we still kept very much in contact until august!
school started for about 3 months already
and yet we speak almost everyday
and the wonderful thing is we don't get sick of each other
even if we see each other so often
and there is always something to talk about.

ok we both have been sticking together in jc
like me and her r the quieter ones
zhengpin and debbie are the louder more AA ones haha
but the bad thing is she is never contactable
she doesn't go facebook, she doesn't check her phone
everything changed when she got her bf
she started coming online
and we got a lot closer after everyone else in the clique was attached
im so glad she took notice of the fact that it is really awkard for me to hang out with everyone else
she always make time for me!
haha or maybe it is her bf la...

there was this period of time i was really emotional

ok yangzhi has been bothering me to update so yea here is my update.
halloween yesterday at muel's house was fun!
gosh put debbie and zhengpin together in the house = fun x 5! haha
and food was awesome!
so all in all, halloween this year was cool! :)

i need to met more people
whoever who said that uni is THE place to meet diversed groups of friends is so wrong
uni is just so fast paced and so not the place to meet new friends.

its week i-dunnoe in school now
and it is just getting more and more boring
of course, homework is accumulating and im trying to get down to finishing up stuff that i haven't been doing diligently...
ok so yesterday as i was walking through the central forum
with the flea stalls and gorgeous buys
it dawned on me that
even after 3 months of university life
with the social camps, oweek
and now lectures, tutorials blah blah
i will probably not find any true friends in school
as much as i make myself think that university is going to be fun and interesting
the truth is catching up with me
no, the 4 years here aren't going to be fun
having been to schools where the girls population greatly dominate the guys
i always thought that having guy friends will be cool
well afterall guys r fun-er to be around
minus all the bitchy-ness and stuff
but i always omit the part that guys r not emotional creatures
and people who know me well knows that beneath this cheerful facade of mine
i m seriously emotional.
no wonder peggy chang said she didn't have much friends in uni
people in uni are way too self-centred
they decide for themselves
without any consideration for the friends around them
if they don't wanna go or buy something, they stick with their decision
which is seriously irritating sometimes...
and the fact that guys r usually like that
[think head of the family] and engin being filled with guys with that mentality
u sort of get the idea of how i have been passing the past couple of months...

and just because i happen to be a girl
and a girl who isn't the typical engineer
doesn't mean i deserve special attention
i can do my own summary thank you very much
well not denying that i felt honoured at first by the special attention i receive
but it starts to get irritating after a while
just because i wear nail polish
people think that i can't connect circuits
[well i used to not be able to but im working on it...]
just because i m one of those few who wear dresses to school
doesn't mean i can't do my own research, give a good presentation
and having me in the group isn't just another face for the group

went out on saturday to buy mervin's present

monday was going out with n&ms to celebrate mervin's birthday!
where we played 4hours of rockband and wii!
as usual i beat ALL of them in wii boxing with my classic and unique boxing technique!

wednesday was meeting yangzhi for a movie think DEVIL
then tuition then muel's house for some awesome food and rockband!
went over to zhengpin and yangzhi's dorm for HTHT and sleepover!
i only woke up when my mum called me to ask what time am i coming home at 10am la

friday was project meeting in school for EE1001 followed by dinner meetup with CO peeps
where i received my extremely belated birthday present!
haha so belated i totally forgotten about it
but thanks man! the dress is gorgeous and contrary to popular belief
this is one dress that actually make my flat chest seem not so flat HAHA
that weekend before recess week ends made me realise how much i am lagging behind in my studies but the packed weekend dinner plans make it impossible for me to catch up on my work!
so mental note to self: cut down on social activities. :(
saturday was family dinner at crystal jade palace @ taka
food is totally great btw! if u can afford to spend 300plus bucks for a meal :X

sunday was zhengpin's longawaited pageant!
moth had to surprise yangzhi so he sort of conspired with me into making yangzhi believe moth was a too-busy-to-bother-with-the-gf boyfriend haha
he came over to my house to surprise yangzhi! haha
and he also gave some gayfashiondesigner fashion advice HAHA

i do have a pair of earholes but i have been thinking of doing something rebellious
i know 2 earholes on a ear is so ah lian and secondary school
but it does signify a certain kind of rebellion that i have never really done :P

yes and i was also thinking of dyeing my hair black like jet black
my current hair is a light shade of brown and black roots r starting to grow out
gross i know right and i am getting sick of my brown hair already
and oh! this pink hair extensions i did 2 years back
i was thinking of getting them again!
and yea, the perm that i have been wanting to do will have to wait until the end of this year when my hair is really long enough

and finally i can donate blood again! :)

i am only done with 300! HELP!
to think that the gp grade was an A,

its computer programming
its something most of u people are not and probably will never study :)
and the grades were disappointing.

ahhh i haven't updated for so so so longggg
I AM SO SORRY!!!
ok guys who still bother to stalk me
im determined to update everyone in detail from where i left off
which is around my birthday to nowww
yes i have turned 19 for a while now and things have been kinda busy for me ever since i turned 19
school started for more than a month already and term break is coming up soon!
im so so so glad for that!
uni life is so different from jc/secsch life
yes i know i know it sounds cliche because everyone is saying it
but honestly, as much as people say jc is way more independent than secondary school
personally i don't feel much of a difference probably because nj is another rv ha
but uni especially engineering where i don't really have much friends
and practically surrounded by guys
[not a good thing because there r alot of things better said to a girl, yes any girl, as compared to a guy]
it has been a month and i haven't really made much friends :(
and CCAs are out because i don't have the time for them
yes i am still madly teaching tuition and i have been trying to cope...
coping rather well i would say and that is one tiny thing that i am actually proud of!
tuesdays and wednesdays are packed with tuition
and 2 per day no less!
i need to catch up with workkk
so yea i will just let the pictures do the talking! :)
but yea i promise to update as much as i can now that i bought my pink vaio already i have access to keyboard and internet almost everywhere :)

but i missed like half of it because the talk started at 10am
and i only woke up at 1030am -_-
anyway i made a futile trip down to school because even after the CORS briefing, i know nuts about module bidding still...
so anyway had time to kill
so went to jurong point with meryvn
saw him coincidentally at the busstop!
and we talked crap HAHA
before i head down to tuition...

wednesday was otaku day because i seriously rot the whole day
watching how i met your mother on my bed
falling asleep at 2.30pm waking up at 4.30pm to find myself late for tuition! SHIT!
and because of that wednesday rotting, i couldn't stand staying at home any further

thursday was spent with mel!
we made our UOB campus account and applied for this UOB debit card
the only incentives for me - cathay tickets 6bucks, free entry butterfac friday nights
lunch at westmall before catching the scorcer's apprentice
same dude as the one in she's out of my league.
no offence here, but i really don't like the whole loser vibe about this guy and his irritatingly nasal voice!
anw, mel had to leave for tuition so i went to jp for some time with myself shopping!
saw benghow so coincidental man haha
bought this marilyn monroe tanktop, brown leggings and a maxidress!
I LOVE MAXI DRESSES!
dinner with vincent and peishing was totally impromtu!
but that is how i just love my life man! HAHA

friday was matriculation for engin and my med checkup
GOSH urine test is so embarressinggggggg!
but anw i have to go for another urine test because they found blood in my urine -_-
matric fair was well a waiting game like how mervin describes it haha
at least i got my student card and ezlink card!
with the student card having privileges for certain dining places whatsoever
as well as the benefits by all the other debit cards...
WOAH i am so afraid i can't control my spending man!
fyi, i applied for a DBS NUS debit card
and standard chartered NUS credit card
gosh the company matters too...
mervin didn't stop me from applying... he himself applied for those2 as well!

woah i haven't updated for more than a week already...
ok life after liberation from work has been awesome!
so im back from CAC camp
which i enjoyed the company of my og mates!
like i totally love the girls!
who r really funny in the lame way! aka yangzhi way...

so anyway before anything, this is when we explored marina bay sands!
hahaha our virgin trip there!
and me and zhengpin got so patriotically high!
AWWA visit!

ok so i shall blog about CAC camp.
perhaps its the fact that i have experienced the most amazing camp [engin camp]
expectations were high
so CAC camp definitely didn't meet my expectations.
engin people are just like family...
CAC people need warming up to...
started off alone in an OG where I know no one.
but it was awesome because i made friends with peishing, winnie, liyana, huimin...
the guys also! haha vincent, xianhong, gerald...
should have expected that CAC camp being a cross fac camp will definitely have their fair share of bitchiness...
and indeed there was...
camp comm tried too hard, and probably that is the reason people don't warm up to them.
anyway camp was too long [it was 5 days when everything could have been completed within 4 days]
and one of the reasons why i didn't like this camp as much was also because of my SP
if u guys have been in contact with me for the past week, u will probably be bombarded with lots of "i hate my sp" talk haha
anyway, let the pictures do the talking!

first day was introduction where the ice breakers were really not that fun.
engin camp did things alot better i feel...
anyway the games required us to go around school
which was good in the sense we get to see the whole NUS campus
engin camp was conducted within engineering campus of course!
had mass dance followed by SP session...
i hate SDU.
just plain high class matchmaking... F***
so our clan [EXNNOYING ORANGE] had kbox session that night...
ok i think also the OGLs are nice... a bit too nice...
like they really practice no ragging
which kinda make things not so fun...
like the kbox session, they really make it clear that we can sleep if we want to...
but the thing is camps r meant to go without sleeping
or rather sleeping as few hours as possible...
i mean we r youths, we have the strength and energy
we really don't need so much protection...
but they were fun la... i make it sound like they r very bad hor...
the whole clan! hahahaha
the word clan makes it sound like there r alot of people rite...
kbox was fun!
maybe the highlight of the day
because baohui [newfound friend] is a crazy kpop lover!
and she dances to gee!

second day was telematches!

so it was orchard road again!

went there on wednesday, friday and later!
it is interesting to be squeezing with the office crowd on the mrt

then it was butterfac!
hahaha, nah dream on... butter in the morning?
we went to the tiny merlion beside butter.
afterwhich we decided to forfeit the other stations and went straight to the cathay's coffee bean to chill...

3rd day night was spent teaching tuition
and because of some obvious reasons, i refuse to return for SP games at sentosa in the morning.
went gymming with yangzhi instead!

so after hocktuck's tuition, i thought i need to do something productive

ok so here comes the proper update about engin camp!
pardon me, life has been busy even after engin camp...
saturdays and sundays will now be 2 tuition per day from now on!!!
but at least i will be 68bucks richer per day!

so ok here goes,
so on the 15th june i set off for camp...
with a rather heavy heart cause of some things that happened the night before..
so anyway, i didn't know my bag will be this heavy
so when i lifted it for the first time to carry it out of my house, i automatically cancelled out public transport as a means to take me to NUS
LOL.
man, to think of it, i may be cursed sia...
i realised everytime i go to NUS, i always cab there...
please don't let it be the case for the next 4 years seriously...
anyway cabbing there was totally a great choice
cuz it poured halfway there
and almost everyone i saw who were going there were with umbrellas and stuff haha
so anyway, i was in GAGA house!

went out to this prata shop after mass dance to fulfil the desires of our growling stomachs LOL
but i decided on food after what 12am? so it was milo dinosaur for all the girls LOL
anyway, decided to sleep early so missed out on the HTHT [heart to heart talk] with OG
so that is about it for day 1!

day 2 started with wenqin waking me up
haha which she continued doing for the rest of the days she was my roomie!
ohhh camps in uni don't consist of sleeping together in a hall where portable whiteboards are used to seperate opposite genders...
comeon, looking at the opposite gender in the middle of the night with bad breathe and messed up hair aren't really going to turn them on u know...
we almost had a guy and a girl sharing rooms u know..
anyway, had RAG prep early in the morning
they tried to make use of us to make props for RAG on the pretense that we are playing games
haha, but we did have fun la...
i don't know why but put this in a JC camp situation, i would have shrug it off as childish
but being there as a freshman, seeing all the seniors being so enthu about RAG really did make me fascinated about the whole uni life.

anyway, day 2 of camp which means it is a wednesday means that orchard road flooded haha
and being stuck in lower kent ridge road totally seperated me from the rest of the world.
being in NUS, our only worry was whether there will be pool games
not so much whether wisma is flooded or not haha

anyway, pool games went on as usual...
and my menses came and also i really don wanna wear my swimming costume
so there im... sporting a towel over my head
[i hate raindrops on my hair la]
SP session 2 followed after...
that was about all for day 2.

day 3 was sentosa!!!
sleeping at 3plus am got us so shagged
so our dear OGL kokyong thought of this game to woke us up! haha
and it also left niang with 2 big blue blck bruises on both her arms! LOL

first game got us into the sea already! haha
another game that required us to bury our male OGmates! LOL
so the rules r that not even a single part of their bodies must be exposed
so we were like "don't breather don't breathe" in an attempt to not make the sand fall off HAHAH
so as revenge, we buried the game master! haha...
with some interesting prop for the crotch area LOL
one of the games required us to carry a sponge using body parts
i got stomach steven got butt so just right he piggy backed me

cuz i slept through most of it!

friday was temple visit after which it was going home to sleep LOL
went shopping at jurong point followed by tuition

saturday was tuition followed by going home to sleep

went for my driver orientation lesson!
OMG, driving on the expressway is scary! ARGHHHH

the past week was a dull one for me since i was sick for almost the whole week!

wednesday [oh! exactly 1 week ago!] woke up with my whole head burning
so it was sick leave for me :(
but spent the whole day sleeping...

was sick throughout the week
even though i returned to work,
colleague/ asst manager jinhui said i looked so horrible on thursday and friday..
i must have looked like a ghost!
and with sickness comes no motivation to dress up! :(

saturday was slightly better but i had to be better
taught tuition in the morning
cabbed to tuition
then cabbed to NUS for the tea session
then cabbed with niang to rafflescity to make payment for engin camp

the fever hasn't exactly subsided yet!
and the voice is HORRIBLE today :(
so bad that i can't teach tuition today :(
i just lost 22.5bucks as a result! :(

edulinkz called me up asking me if im interested in teaching a sec 1 girl/boy science
pay is the same as the sec 1 girl im teaching now
so in other words, 2 tuitions every saturday
80bucks earned from morning till 1.30pm!!
YAYEEEE
so with this HOPEFULLY *keeping fingers crossed* i can drop the p4 boy im teaching now
im a good educator but trust me, when one has to explain matter over and over again for every single week
IT IS BLOODY HOPELESS
so my weekdays will generally be free! YAYEE

haven't actually fell this sick ever since my schedule has been crazily hectic
finally had a fever after so long!
now that i think of it, balancing work with 3 tuition while learning driving is not exactly the easiest life a person can lead!
so anyway, no work for me yesterday since i was running a fever
managed to ENJOY LIFE haha
because the whole day was spent sleeping and sleeping
reached home at 9.20am
[yes i attempted to go to work, but was having fainting spells on the mrt isit the fever or the bangala's BO i do not know]
slept till 11 and mummy woke me up for fish porridge
while i rewatch springs of life!
seriously songs from the 80s never fail to make me smile :)
and slept again from like 1230 to 430

woke up to catch little nyonya!
haha, im a local tv addict! but of course i only watch good local productions

see see this is really a weekly blog man!
so this week is a not so mundane week i would say...
since this is the week that has kinda changed my life..
with the driving liscence and everything
so monday was a typical mundane day
but it was the slackest day of my work life at SCI
since i have nothing to do the entire day
and youtube, msn, facebook became my bestest companions...
not like they aren't already mine!

so tuesday took half day leave for driving lesson!
its really cool u know...
cause i finished my lesson at 9.40am
reached home and SLEEP
coolness!
so when i reached work, jinhui and zhengpin just came back from lunch
and jinhui gave me this! [refer to above pic]
seriously it is heavenly!
even though i have to complain that the marshmallows are too small
but come on, it is a packet drink after all...
so being the ever so kiasu me, i went to book another driving lesson on tuesday at night.
and as a result i had to postpone hocktuck [bukit batok tutee]'s tuition...
so ended up i took the whole day off on wednesday to teach both hocktuck and zavier

no moolah!

anyway, thursday was a really eventful day
because as me mel and zpin [the 3 OLs] were having a mass msn convo,
i chanced upon a great discovery!

so anyway, being the SGC girls,

and zhengpin ended up smsing her

Don't you hate it when people make a joke about you, about something that you are actually incredibly insecure about. And they don't realize it, but every laugh feels like a stab in your chest, because it hurts so much and brings up memories you'd rather forget. But you can't say anything, because then people would know your weaknesses. They'd know how insecure you really are. So instead you just laugh it off, and hide the pain you feel inside.
so true for me! yes for me, people who get my goat are people who laugh at others with bad skin... and i hate people who despise people finding them disgusting just because they r pimply... perhaps it is my weakness...

ok so i feel like this is turning into a weekly blog sia!
haha, so anyway last sunday was horrible!
because i booked a driving lesson and i totally forgotten about it!

68bucks! gone just like that!
so i had to pay my mum back for that lesson! :(

haha but anyway, last sunday's dinner was at sakura
after which it turned out to be a mini tour of my future school
but i reached mel's school first
and somehow we got lost haha!
but this indian guy who is doing his phD in ELET ENGIN showed us the way out!

work this week has been hmmm the same...
HAHA, at least i have stopped transferring desks and depts!

i have had my fair share of interactions with different people
and my role model has always changed from one to another

this time my role model is my superior!!!
yes the one who told me i did a good job! :)
ok, after shifting desks for quite a bit, i am seated at this really "safe" spot where no one will ever see how much facebooking im have been using! haha
but the main thing is im seated directly opposite zoey who is the deputy director fyi
ok the thing i really like about her is she reminds me of my 4th aunt from my materal side so much!
both of them are big which makes them look intimidating
but really they r really wonderful people!
she inspires me so much so that i think being "married" to my job may not be such a bad thing after all! haha

like when i gave her my time sheet to sign yesterday, she signed it immediately without checking or anything!
i really appreciate the fact that she trusts her employees so much!
yea as compared to my ex- boss at global of course! LOL

my aim all my life has always been to study, get a degree, get married and have kids...
looking at her, maybe i might want to be a career woman afterall...
apart from the loneliness experienced whenever i see couples or parents with kids...
but come on, i have lived a lonely life for the past 18 years of my life
i should be able to survive this for 40 more years!!!

ahhh finally a decent post for all my stalkers out there! HAHAHA

i like my job that is! :)))
mindstretchers last for only 1 week
but this one has been going for about 2weeks
and going strong!
the fact that i actually made powerpoint slides for 2 whole new chapters never fail to make me really proud of myself!!!

so 15th april marks my father's birthday!
and as late as it is, we r only going out tomorrow nite for a good dinner celebration!

so first day of work on the 16th april was ok
lunch at the sky garden which is so impressive
that i really don't mind dining there everyday!

the pantry is really pretty as well!

since saturdays and sundays are so free for me,
went to this burmese water festival programme organised by town council or sth
last sunday!
haha, 2 things i learnt
there are a lot of burmese people in singapore
and MYANMESE people are hip! we dance to nobody! haha
[mummy still looks so pretty... with makeup haha]

the following week's work was mainly for IESP
[the air con within suntec city was so cold my camera lens went misty! but still it looks so cool! haha]
[zpin looks pretty here!]

but the good thing is
we have occasional desserts!
like green bean and sweet potatoe soup!

the last week was self-titled good food weekend! haha

ahhh so sunday was shopping with melly!
FAR EAST!
and i realise cabbing on sundays is cheap!
because there is no surcharges and best thing

on a sidenote, cabbing to work for the 1st 2 days left me very very poor!
esp the 2nd day! 23bucks on taxi can! passed thru 2 ERP gantries FML :(
bought so much things! man, i spent 104bucks on clothes alone!
one capri pants, one jumper, one hula&co dress which i have been eyeing for so long esp since i m walking past hula&co everyday and 2 pairs of shoes!
mel bought this blazer and i wished i can get one my size too
almost all the blazers are too big for me can!
that day was totally good food day!
steak at jack's place followed by ice cream!
greedily, i bought double flavours and i was given 2 spoons..
haha apparently i don't look like i eat so much icecream haha!
mel and her greentea icecream... she really has a thing for greentea!
maybe i shld try some greentea icecream/frap too!
ARGH! i really spend too much!
furthermore, i just went to allthingslovely and order 2 dresses! :(
but they r cheap la, only 28bucks for both!
one clubbing wear [no don't get me wrong, i haven't clubbed for the WHOLE MONTH of april!] one work-related... hmmm i wonder what shld i do with all those work kinda dresses when i go back to school? but heck still got 3 more months of work!

work last week was hmmm definitely more boring than the first!

i finally manage to find time for a facial on thurs!
so on the way, i dropped by globaledu since it was a thurs and the thurs class is LOVELY
and jenna, kaizhen, teddy were just so happy to see me
jenna kept hugging me all the time! haha
and teddy really really missed me too i can tell!
i love facials because i always get treated like a queen!
and its so relaxing i always fall asleep! haha
it helps too that my beautician is wonderful..

and its at hume park which means i have a direct bus there! YEAAAA
sec 1 math is refreshing, haveing been out of touch with it for 6 yrs
definitely harder than p6 math
so its good to get the brain working abit more after procrestinating for so long!
afterwhich i met gina and mel for some shopping
and im totally in love with this agnes b bag! which is really affordable
plus its PRETTYYYYYYYYYY
its even cheaper than the katespade one i was eyeing
and furthermore, there is a 10% discount!
i will persuade mummy to let me have one!
the only concern as a school bag is that its totally white :(
and being the messy person im, it will be grey soon!

i have been extremely lazy in blogging nowadays...
i wish i have something to do

so this week has been fine generally

so early this morning i got transferred out of whatever i have been doing for the past week
and doing some curriculum work
so for the first 2 days, i was busy editting textbooks and ppt slides

and the day for the ladies come and im left with zero work

well at least i still get paid $64 a day! :)
and payday will be here soon!

anyway being the bimbotic person im
i totally love dressing up for work!
even though amanda will totally own me in the fashion department
but anyway i like the fact that everyone dress up for work
dress UP... yes literally UP cuz everyone's in heels anyway too!
so after last week's adventure of wearing 3 inch dirtcheap heels to work
my poor feet suffer as a result
with a 10centcoin blister on each big toe
my feet were so swollen i can't even fit into my heels
so this entire week was in kitten heels
until today back to my 3inch heels
which are so comfortable i love running in them!
i need more mondo heels! haha

its 5.25pm now
5 more minutes to the end of the work week
and im SO BORED
because it is friday and i have no programmes on except for a last minute driving lesson i booked

i seriously thought that high heels are always bought by women to be worn only on special occasions
its only when i started working here did i realise women here wear heels everyday!
which kind of made me want to wear heels too! haha
i wore my 3 inch heels today
and i walked about 1km in them!
i m so proud of myself!
i think its even more impressive than those army botaks marching 72km!
come on, i bet those army boys would rather march their 72km than to walk in heels right?

in the midst of university applications
i realise i have so many good friends around me
whom i have neglected terribly after i decided to enter the dark side of life

gina sms-ed me today to persuade me to go to CO sleepover on good friday
and we started talking about university apps
that smartie has already secured a place in SMU LAW!

so she gave me some advice on engineering
lke NUS is a way better school to pursue engineering
because of its internationally recognised degree
was actually thinking of civil engineering
but she adviced me against the one at NTU
how great is she man!

he is in aerospace engineering
and he was really honest and said for engineering, NTU definitely owns NUS
LOL, i really don't know how credible it is coming from a NTU student
but still... most probably NTU since its nearer to my house than NUS

all academics aside,
NTU definitely is lacking in terms of the numbers head turners in their school
as compared to NUS
well then again, the samply size judging from the openhouse committee is an unfair comparison.

because my chiang [the boss] came out of his office all of a sudden and he was like

haha... anyway, this time it does hurt a bit at first
and i thought i may faint from that
but i was so strong i could even go teach tuition after that!

i haven't been a good blogger haha im sorry for that

anyway, the dreadful As results are out
and i really thank god so much that my results are not as bad as i expected them to be.
i was honestly expecting Cs and Ds...
that is exactly how much i have been wasting my jc years man...
i didn't dare to join the NJC ALUMNI group on facebook for fear i would have to repeat one more year in NJC

and im just really really glad that i *fingers crossed* would be able to get into engineering...
first choice NUS, second choice NTU.

and that GP grade is a god-send i swear.

in short, my results are not good by any standards...
but a mental note and i am really going to follow this rule i set for myself
MUG HARD IN UNI.

actually for my future, i had sort of drafted it out after getting my As results
and i have discussed with my teachers and parents
it seemed like the best future? haha
get an engineering degree
followed by postgraduate dioploma in education
ok la... it is what i planned now...
i may change my aims and goals in life ya so...

anyway
friends have been changing jobs...

nope actually they r out of jobs haha
while im still stuck at novena for almost the past 3 months
and i m not complaining

since the pay is good HAHA

13th March will mark my 3rd month working there!
if i can stand working there for another 3 months
my notes supply for tuition teaching will be more than enough for the whole of this year

by the way, i took up another tuition job in case i haven't mentioned it
its at jurong east
P5 english, math and science
200bucks a month
and finally that room has air con!

so hopefully after leaving the admin job for uni, i will still have a steady income of 380bucks a month!

and ok next aim, have 10000bucks possession in my two bank accounts before i hit the sad old 19!
which is possible i guess HAHA
i will be a rich woman!

so other aspects of my life,
mummy grounded me from going clubbing
and im not complaining either
maybe will go again only when i go back to school i guess...

the whole of last week i didn't drive at all...
and i was stuck at the end of stage 2 but can't go on to stage 3 phase
so i chiong-ed driving yesterday
and i went for 2 lessons!

so im officially doing circuit work

haha didn't have any high hopes about that show becuz i m not a big fan of harry potter anyway
but it turned out to be really interesting
and it made me read up on the greek mythology

but then, the story is really for 3 year olds i feel
it is really predictable and i was kinda waiting for the battle to begin when i already know alice is going to win... HAHAHA
but of course the whole catching up with zhengpin offsets everything!

and i really do not know why.
but my life seems so good as of now...
not that my results r fabulous
but at least im not so worried about at least getting into a university
i have all my good friends.
all still in contact with each other
colleagues never fail to make me laugh everyday
[that's why i prefer to call them friends :) ]
family members ok i suppose...
i have been living the life i wanted
i can afford to buy my own stuff
don't have to keep asking parents for money
eat at whichever restaurants i want
watch as many movies
but of course, i have to work hard with all the tuition and stuff in order to sustain my lifestyle
at least life is now good to me.
meeting new friends while clubbing has been enjoyable
and im thankful they r great people!
but now that i stop clubbing, i wonder how on earth can i make more friends?

going abroad to study
is it really so prestigious?
the whole idea of abandoning your roots
for some may choose to continue staying on in those countries
it scares me

just like how my parents did so with myanmar
its a good idea for their case considering myanmar being such a third world country
but hello singapore is different!
every festive season, we have to spend it alone
no visiting of relatives... no joy and laughter
my parents did try to compensate for that
but of course nothing beats gathering together as a big extended family...

and i was talking to a friend about it
and he says he is going overseas to get a good degree
to earn more money
likea 5 figure sum monthly or sth
its only then i realised how different my aim in life is as compared to all these ambitious people
i just wanted a good degree
get married
and start a family as soon as possible
but it is different for them
they want money, a big house, luxurious lifestyle
and with money comes destruction of their characters
not like their characters are not bad enough
cheating on their wives
having loads of mistresses
gambling
shares...

this is not the kind of life i want.

but then it didn't work.

work after CNY has been smooth sailing!
boring at times
but since chernping is back, it has been a lot noiser haha!

since cp and me, we are such camwhores!
first day back to work after CNY
too bored and i tied french braids for niang!
and im looking fat! SHIT
swimming swimming gymming!

second day of work after CNY
spent the boring 2pm to 4pm period of time with shirie
who kept entertaining us by taking pictures of us
and also the slowmotion function of my pixon really intrigued her! haha
i wished i could show u guys the slowmotion version becuz it is so damn funny!
and chernping is definitely going to kill me if she sees it!

i went to the bloodbank last week with mel and vivien to donate blood
and vien and i got rejected due to our low iron level
i must clarify it is normal, but its just too low for donation!

so i went down to raffles place again yesterday for the blood donation drive
i was thinking my low iron level may have been due to my menses and hectic work schedule
but after CNY non stop eatting and the regular iron tablets, it shld go back to normal
cuz when i last donated, my iron level was 13!
and yesterday it was 11.8

then back to bugis for dinner at sakae!

supposed to be my treat but my mum won me to putting her card on the bill :( haha

haha, i didn't know sentosa can be so big seriously!
visited the casino... didn't go in but at least i saw some super gambler being escorted into the casino! haha

and visited jolin at work!

haha, i m finally so glad i have been working at such a relaxed place compared to those at resorts world haha!
as much as i would really enjoy the vibrant and youthful working environment, it shld be really tough standing for so long because it brings back bad memories of my retail job back in my O levels days!
anyway, lunch at chilis was o.o

haha, american food is just not for me!

and dinner at bukit timah!

i know this is like a new year
and i shouldn't be writing about this...
but haha, it feels so cool
like after reading about this particular model who just got into JC
and kinda get outcasted in her school
because news about her being in a modelling contest last year was spread throughout the whole school and it unleashed a whole world of gossips about her.
and i m so glad she went to that particular jc as compared to my alma mater
see, njc is a relatively neutral school where girls are known to be boring because we don't gossip about others like crazy and we tend to accept people easily...
but that jc she went to [mind u, a top school] a relatively more bitcher school [not that it is bad in anyway to me] and girls really outcast her
which i feel is a good thing, not that im being mean or anything, but this allows her to learn to keep her attitude in check.
there are people in njc who i think will totally not be able to survive in schools like that because their 'i mind my own business face and attitude' is a blatant invitation for other girls to outcast them...
and i read her blog because i used to really admire her confidence which is so uncommon among all the models... but now all the tags on her board are just totally against her now

i know this is a bad time for her... but it is a good learning experience too
sometimes life doesn't just revolve around people like them.

ok, i guess this shall be the end of my clubbing life for a while...
as much as i love the music
and dancing...
somehow, sleeping in the morning when the sun is so bright
seeing drunkards lying on roadsides
the promiscuous lifestyle led by many clubbers
aren't so interesting after a while...

and the company has been great yesterday! 7 ppl in total!

with the 2 maiden experience clubbers [ying2 and yangzhi] really enjoying themselves as compared to mel that time at zouk...
haha, i bet clubbing is really not for mel!
and being surrounded by so many hot and cute guys!
no doubt clubbing is the world of good-looking people!

this guy who was alcohol poisoned apparently
rich, good looking, tall, nice build, good looking friends
but he drank 10 glasses of alcohol straight la...

and he was like totally motionless and keeps vomiting
which kinda scares me about the kind of lifestyle this is
over doing this, no matter how rich, goodlooking one is
it is just one meaningless life...

having spoken to michelle the club pro, she told me that after clubbing for so long, the guys no matter how good looking just all look the same
and ok let's admit it... when we see a really goodlooking guy on the streets or MRT, we tend to be secretly admiring him yea for his looks
but after clubbing for a few times, there are so many good looking guys that one just gets immune to the good looks...
somehow, a good looking guy walking past you can no longer make your heart flutter

having said so much, i am not quiting clubbing completely
of course
im still young and being single i have all the right to "play the field" codes mingli
so definitely not stopping clubbing altogether
but taking a break to really think through why do I like clubbing so much?
maybe its just an addiction...

and to pay for my clubbing expenses, i have to save a bit la!
tuition with hock tuck is going fine!
and this sat, im starting a new one with a p1 kid at queenstown!
15bucks per hr for p1 not bad rite!
so my additional income from tuition will add up to a 3 digit number

ok, we stayed at phuture for most of the time
which was a wise decision because zouk has tue tue tue music which is so not cool! haha
anyway, phuture was uber packed
which i have mentally prepared myself for though

so anyway, it was a rather different experience
